    Dr. Mohammad (Moe) Khaleel is currently the Associate Laboratory Director for Energy and Environmental Sciences at the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His current duties involve oversight of a range of research activities to solve some of the nation’s most pressing scientific and technical problems. 

    Among his previous positions in research institutions are: i) Director of the Office of Institutional Planning and Advanced Research Project Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory; ii) Executive Director of the Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute at Qatar Foundation, and; iii) Laboratory Fellow & Director of Computational Sciences and Mathematics Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory; and iv) Co-Director of the Northwest Institute for Advanced Computing at the University of Washington, Seattle. In addition, Dr. Khaleel had served as Adjunct Professor at Washington State University at Pullman where he taught several courses. He also advised and co-advised several MS and PhD students as well as Post-Doctoral Fellows.
