MSE Professor and Chair Natalie Stingelin's group has been published online in the journal Nature Reviews Materials. In the article, “A materials physics perspective on structure–processing–function relations in blends of organic semiconductors," the Stingelin group demonstrates that well-established models, rooted in classical materials science and the thermodynamics of mixtures, can provide quantitative frameworks to guide material and process design as opposed to time-consuming trial-and-error procedures.
