Several MSE faculty members have been recognized in the 2023 Ranking of the Best Scientist in the World by Research.com, a leading academic platform for scientists. The ranking is based on the H-index data from Microsoft Academic Graph.

Zhong Lin Wong, Regents’ Professor and Hightower Chair Emeritus, has been ranked 1st in materials science 

Meilin Liu, Regents’ Professor and Hightower Chair, was ranked 54th in the U.S.

C.P. Wong, the Charles Smithgall Institute Endowed Chair and Regents’ Professor, was ranked 87th in the U.S.

Juan-Pablo Correa-Baena, assistant professor and Goizueta Early Career Faculty Chair, was recognized as #47 in the Rising Star Category.
