MSE Ph.D. student Grayson Harrington has been awarded the prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF). Harrington was one of 38 Georgia Tech graduate students to receive the award.
The NSF graduate fellowship is among the most prestigious funding for graduate students in the United States. The five-year fellowship provides three years of financial support inclusive of an annual stipend of $37,000.
The purpose of the GRFP is to ensure the quality, vitality, and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce of the United States. GRFP seeks to broaden participation in science and engineering of underrepresented groups, including women, minorities, persons with disabilities, and veterans.
